Since 2016, Putorana Films has been crafting powerful, character-driven stories from our bases in Calgary, Alberta, and Golden, British Columbia - capturing voices from across Canada and beyond.

Our journey so far:
Specializing in short dramatic films and documentaries, we've filmed everywhere from British Columbia to Newfoundland to the Indian Himalayas - always chasing stories that resonate.

Current exploration:
Golden holds a deep well of untold stories. We're listening, learning, and connecting with the community, while continuing development on a film about an Argentinian-Canadian chef from Calgary.
